We started Syntropic because it felt like the natural convergence of everything we’ve done so far. Founding our own businesses, working with global brands, creating systems-level change, and learning how to communicate complexity with clarity.

Glen co founded The Ethical Butcher, one of the UK’s first onlinemeat businesses built around regenerative agriculture. The work covered the full creative and strategic stack: brand positioning, campaign development, photography, film, web copy, social content, product storytelling and public facing thought leadership. It also included the creation of #Regenuary, a campaign designed to reframe the January food conversation beyond simple plant versus meat arguments. Working with farmers, customers and critics to communicate a contested subject without flattening it into slogans.

Working with H. Dawson to build a thought leadership programme. The first phase is a commissioned blog series, drawing on independent experts and practising farmers so the range of perspectives reflects how contested and genuinely complex this territory is. The aim is to help early adopters decide, connect verified wool growers with those still weighing the move.
This is work for a regenerative business beyond agriculture, in a supply chain that shares the same land and the same questions. The same principles apply.

Working as Head of Knowledge Exchange, Glen helped translate regenerative agriculture, Holistic Management and ecological monitoring into language, media and materials that wider audiences could grasp and use. Sitting between strategy, education and communication, producing films and photography, supporting knowledge sharing and helping explain complex land based systems without losing their nuance. This work feeds directly into Syntropic’s approach: turning dense, technical or contested regenerative ideas into clear and credible comms that can move between farmers, funders, brands, consumers and institutions.
